My Commitment to Breast Cancer Awareness

Here at Ohio Northern University, I am a member of Kappa Epsilon Pharmacy Fraternity. I joined KE for many reasons, but one of the main reasons is because our philanthropy is breast cancer awareness. There are several activities that we hold each year to help raise money for breast cancer research, and to help those currently fighting cancer.

Stephanie Spielman 5K Run/Walk

Each year, we sponsor the Stephanie Spielman Run/Walk on the "green monster" track at ONU.

Breast Cancer Baskets

One of my favorite activities in KE is the breast cancer basket service project. Each sister purchases a basket or tote and fills it with gifts for the breast cancer patients at a local hospital.

Relay for Life

Kappa Epsilon also participates in ONU's Relay for Life. We solicit donations to help raise money, as well as hold a Panera breakfast fundraiser where we students can pay $3 for a bagel and a beverage before their morning classes.
